I know there is a bunch of you who say you can’t cash out from paypal, or do anything with it because you don’t have a credit card to link to it and lift your limits on it. Here’s how you do it:

1. Set up a paypal if you don’t already have one at PayPal

2. Go to AccountNow(https://www.accountnow.com) and apply for a card. In about 5-10 business days you will receive your card in the mail. Activate it when you get it, using the directions they give you. You will also see a paper that the card is attached to that is a direct deposit form. DO NOT THROW THIS AWAY! You will need it for the next step.

3. Go back to your paypal account and hover your mouse over the link that says “Profile” and you will see a dropdown menu come up. Click on the link that says “Add or Edit Bank Account” Now click on Add Bank. You will see this page:

Remember that direct deposit form? Get it now, don’t worry, I’ll wait…..

Got it? Good! Keep the Checking Account button checked, in the Routing Number, type in that number. In the Account Number…yup you got it, (you sure catch on quick!) type it in there, and hit continue.

You should now get a page that says something to the lines of “Paypal will make 2 deposits in your bank account within the next 5-7 business days, when you have those amounts come back here and enter them” (sometimes it will only take a day, sometimes up to 10 days, just be patient)

You’re done with that part.

4. When you get those amounts in your account, again go back to the Add Edit Bank Account and click on it. You will see your bank account with a link next to it that says “Confirm” click it. You will see 2 boxes, type in the amounts paypal deposited and click continue. Congratulations! You have successfully linked your bank account to paypal.

5. Adding A Credit Card: Same concept, hover over Profile, click on Add Edit Credit Card, and follow the steps. If you do it right, the card will be successfully linked to your account now.

6. Funding your account, AND lifting your deposit and withdraw limit. Get a Greendot Moneypak (click link to find locations) You DO NOT want to get the Greendot Creditcard, just the moneypak, add some $ to it (say $20) it will cost you $4.95 for it, but it’s worth it. Go back to your paypal account and click the link that says “add funds” then click on “add funds from a GreenDot MoneyPak” follow the instructions. After you do it you will see a page that says you have a $250 a month limit on deposits to your account, Click here to lift it. Click on that link and fill in the information. If done correctly you will then see a page that says you can now deposit $2000 a week.

Congratulations, you are now set up with PayPal and have a Prepaid CC. You can also fund your CC with a GreenDot moneypak
